Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013!

Oooooh I just love a new year!

I'm more of a New Year's Day person than a New Year's Eve person.
There is something about a new year that makes life feel so clean and fresh!

Today I am linking up with Farley over at Oh'Boy Fourth Grade for the first Currently of 2013--
I love getting to know one another and am excited to make some new friends!

The Ultimate Gift is such a sweet movie that my family watches every Christmas break. The message is something to treasure--money does not equal happiness. Can I get an Amen?!

I've mentioned a little about why I love a new year, but ultimately it boils down to this:
"Behold, I make all things new."
Each new year is a precious reminder that God is in the business of making us new!

I'm about to make some tea and am searching online for a purse. It is definitely a want and not a need, but I have my money saved so hopefully I can find one soon!

Okay y'all, I am SO EXCITED about my new planner!!
I have been searching high and low for a planner that can fit in my purse but has enough space for writing--and that looks cute too!
Eryn over at Elementary Organization made one and has it posted on TpT--it's marvelous.
The cover is free and customizable and you simply download and print the planner!

Look at the cover I made!!!

For quite some time now I've been picking a word for each season--usually Fall/Spring of each year. My word for this past semester was simplify.
I loved Farley's idea about choosing a yearly word, so my one little word for 2013 is seek
This year I want to seek Jesus, others with intentionality, adventure, organization, joy, and more!

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 3:33

I love my word and am so excited to see how God uses it this year!!

2012, you were good to me--but I'm ready for 2013! Happy New Year!
