I made it! On a Monday! With a Freebie!

The name of my summer game seems to be linky parties--I LOVE THEM!
Anyone else??
So many fun friends and more great ideas than I can even count!

Today (unintentionally), I'm joining TWO linky parties!!!
I've been planning to link up with 4th Grade Frolics for a Monday Made It party, but guess what?!
It's the 15th, too--which means you get a freebie!!
That worked out all too well. Hooray!

Monday Made It with 4th Grade Frolics,

AND

Freebies on the Fifteenth with my friend, Molly!

It all began with the little red bucket...

My mom gave me these adorable little red buckets a while back (thanks, Mom!!) and I knew that they would be perfect for my pencils! I want the pencils to be easily accessible and clearly labeled.

I wanted to keep it super simple--print, cut, hole punch.
Print the labels on cardstock (free at the bottom!).
Cut out the labels.
Hole Punch a little hole at the top of the label.

I made two!
One for the pretty, sharp pencils...
and the other for the chewed/broken/tiny/sad little pencils.
You know, those pencils.

Finally, some flair! A little bit of ribbon never hurt anybody.
Am I right?
:)

Tada!

Easy + functional + cute = win.

Click the picture below to snag the freebie labels!
I've included sharp, dull, sharpened, and unsharpened.

Happy Monday, teacher friends!!

  1. Cute simple project. Maybe I should revamp my pencil containers. I just used old cans and put paper around them... but these are so much cuter! Lovin' the ribbon. Guess I'll add this to my project list for the summer lol. ~Cara Lee

  2. I love the labels. Thanks! I've been wanting to make some for my little buckets, and I hadn't gotten around to it yet.
