Currently, it's February!

February 1st already?! My oh my.

I'm excited to be linking up for Farley's monthly Currently!
Y'all, this link-up is such a fun way to meet new teacher friends--I love it!!
{Hi new teacher friends!! Thanks for stopping by!!}

Gilmore Girls is a show that has a special place in my little heart. I'd watch it every day after school with my mom and my sister and it became such a sweet time. It is still probably my favorite series! So I'm listening/watching an episode from Season 2 right now.

I'm really excited to be selling Girl Scout cookies with my little troop tomorrow! Long story short--one of my dear friends is a volunteer troop leader and I get to help out. The little girls are SO excited to be selling cookies. At the last meeting, we roll played cookie selling! WOOHOO!
P.S. If you've never had a frozen Thin Mint cookie (or the whole sleeve), you're missing out.

January seems to have come and gone super quick, but my allergies are sticking around. I sure wish they'd go away soon!

I seriously need to keep training for my 5k. Y'all...I'm not a runner. At. All.
My sister is a little marathon-sprinter-super-fast-runner-gal, but I always stuck to other forms of exercise. You know--Zumba, aerobics, bike riding, tennis, etc.
UNTIL NOW!
Or I guess last semester when I started training. Ha!
I should really start running again.
One of these days...

And last but not least, the only pet peeve that I can ever think of.
The dreaded toilet seat fiasco.
I prefer the whole toilet completely closed. Like seat, lid, everything.
It might be more of a fear--as in, I'm afraid something will come out of the toilet (like a bug!).
Maybe it's just a pet peeve, though.
Well anyways, I like it closed all the way!

So that's what is happening with me!
Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the bloggy world!
I am delighted that you're here!!

  1. Hello... stopping by from the linky. What part of Texas are you in? I'm in Houston and just finished up my Master's in December.

  2. Mmm, I love Girl Scout cookies! It's probably a good thing they're only available once a year. Have you ever had the Edy's Thin Mint ice cream? It's delish! :)

  3. Good luck with the 5k! I find the hardest time to train while running is when its cold and snowy outside. I wish you the best!! Keep up the motivation!

  5. Both of my daughters are Girl Scouts, so I have lots of cookie booths in my future! I feel your pain with the allergies. Mine are usually better in the winter, but not this year. I hope you find some relief soon! Good luck with your 5k!
