IT'S FRIDAY!

Is it officially summer for all of you? I sure hope so!
We're enjoying some Texas heat down here, which means lots and lots of pool time!
:)

I'm linking up today with Doodle Bugs Teaching to share five little moments from my week.
The Five for Friday link up is a favorite of mine--it's like a weekend celebration!!
None of my moments are very teacher-ish because I was busy enjoying the summer sunshine.
I'll be back with teacher-y things in the coming days!!

One:

P.S. Y'all, I definitely didn't edit any of these pictures. My apologies for the shadows.

Breakfast this week was so much more fun thanks to these cute little jars from my Mom!
I just layered greek yogurt, oatmeal + a little flax seed, blueberries, and fresh strawberries.
Then, when I pull out a little jar for breakfast, I add a touch of honey and eat up!
YUM.

Two:

Can we talk for a second about how the Target Dollar Spot always gets me?!? EVERY. TIME.
I've been practicing a lot of self-control lately and I actually refrained from buying every notepad in the whole section. They are just so cute!!!

Three:

This ministry has just blessed my little socks off. Basically, SheReadsTruth is a group of women who get in the Word together, whether they follow the plans online, through the You Version Bible app, or through email. I am currently reading through 1&2 Peter--it's so good, y'all! Sometimes I struggle with what to study/where to even begin and it's been such a blessing to have a plan laid out for me.

Four:

Just a little run along the river. I've been motivated lately by all of you guys and your healthy summer plans! If you're needing some motivation to get moving, just check out Instagram. Maybe not late at night, though, because then everybody posts ice cream and other treats. :)

Five:
And I saved the best for last...

This is a little treasure. Honestly, it's almost too good to be true! A beanie baby bunk bed-- :) :) :).
I'm pretty sure my parents still have all of our beanie babies. We were hoping that one day they'd become collectibles and we could sell them all for lots of money...but we're still waiting...

:)
Have a wonderful weekend, sweet friends! Enjoy celebrating all of the fathers in your life!!

  2. OMGosh!! I love the Beanie Baby bunkbed. I have tons. I remember driving from McDonalds to McDonalds ordering Happy Meal after Happy Meal to get them. I am hoping they become collectable too. Although, I broke down and let my kids play with them (probably took all value away). :) Your breakfast looks yummy too! :)

  9. That's funny...my mother has a whole collection of beanie babies! Same thing, when we were younger they were supposedly going to be worth money someday! I actually think she may have given up and just lets my niece play with them now.

  10. LOVE your blog! I was hooked on the breakfast. Yum. And the fact that I am sure my husband wishes there were another way into Target than by that Dollar Area. OH MY. The beanie bunk bed is a hoot. I'd love you to stop over and follow me if you get a chance!

  11. Those yogurt jars are really neat! I think I may have to try that! Have you ever seen the salad jars that have the dressing on the bottom and then all the greens are on top? Those look great too. Hmmmmm. I'm hungry now. No Target here. Lucky for my husband! Have a great weekend! I'm a new follower!!

    1. Hi Sandy! Where are you from?? I'm sad for you that there is no Target, but you're right. I'd be saving so much money if there were no Target!! :) I've never seen the salad jars---heading to Pinterest! It seems like such a great idea because then the lettuce wouldn't get all soggy...but lunch would still be cute!!

Thanks for sharing the idea :)
      Have a great weekend!
